Abstract Rad obuhvaća percepciju rodne diskriminacije na studiju, osobno iskustvo studenata/ica te percepciju doživljene rodne diskriminacije drugih studenata/ica na studiju.
Abstract (english) The paper explores perceived gender discrimination at university, personal experience of gender discrimination of students and perception of experienced gender discrimination of other people at their university. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between gender discrimination at university and some characteristics of study (satisfaction with studies, level of study, and type of faculty) and socio-demographic characteristics (gender, age, level of religiosity, political affiliation) of students. The research was conducted by a web questionnaire, which consisted of four scales: Questionnaire of perceived presence of gender discrimination at university, Questionnaire of frequency of experienced gender discrimination at university, Questionnaire of perceived experienced gender discrimination of other persons at university and Questionnaire of satisfaction with university. 274 respondents participated, of which 70,6% were female students and 29,4% male students.
According to the obtained results, students showed a low level of perceived gender discrimination at their university, most participants never experienced gender discrimination at the faculty they attend and never experienced gender discrimination of other people at their university. Significantly higher level of perceived gender discrimination was shown by female students in relation to their male colleagues, older students from younger ones, students of biomedical faculties in relation to others. Non-religious participants have a more frequent experience of gender discrimination in relation to those who have declared themselves religious, and students of integrative studies in relation to those of graduate and undergraduate studies. A negative correlation was found between study satisfaction and all three examined aspects of gender discrimination in the study.
