Abstract

Shizofrenija, sa pojavnosti od oko 1%, predstavlja jedan od glavnih uzroka invaliditeta diljem svijeta te jednu od najčešćih psihijatrijskih bolesti. Osobe oboljele od shizofrenije se liječe: farmakoterapijom, psihoterapijom i socioterapijom. Socioterapija se, kao psihijatrijska metoda, fokusira na različite društvene faktore s ciljem prevencije i resocijalizacije, to jest, ponovnog uključivanja oboljelog u njegovu sredinu, u tijeku ili nakon psihijatrijskog liječenja. Socioterapijske metode su: terapijska zajednica, case management, trening socijalnih vještina, glazboterapija, likovna terapija, te radno-okupacijska terapija. Cilj ovog preglednog završnog rada je prikazati dosadašnje spoznaje o socioterapijskim metodama liječenja osoba oboljelih od shizofrenije.

Abstract (english)

Schizophrenia, with an incidence of about 1%, is one of the main causes of disability worldwide and one of the most common psychiatric diseases . People suffering from schizophrenia are treated with: pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy and sociotherapy. Sociotherapy, as a psychiatric method, focuses on various social factors with the aim of prevention and resocialization, that is, the reintegration of the patient into his environment, during or after psychiatric treatment. Sociotherapeutic methods are: therapeutic community, case management, social skills training, music therapy, art therapy and work-occupational therapy. The aim of this review final paper is to present the current knowledge about sociotherapeutic methods of treatment of people suffering from schizophrenia.
