Abstract

U ovom radu cilj je bio kroz dostupnu literaturu proučiti kakva je uloga sporta u
prevenciji ovisnosti i kako sve sportske aktivnosti mogu pridonijeti u prevenciji ovisnosti
kod djece i mladih. Pregledom literature došlo se do spoznaje kako sportske aktivnosti
same po sebi imaju pregršt pozitivnih utjecaja na život i zdravlje djece i mladih, a
obzirom na to kako je sport često zajednički povezujući faktor u zajednici, čini se kako je
zbog toga i odličan alat u provedbi programa prevencije ovisnosti. Provedba sportskih
preventivnih programa za djecu i mlade u zajednici zahtjeva uključivanje svih članova
zajednice.

Abstract (english)

In this paper the main goal was to study through the available literature and find what is
the main role of sport in addiction prevention and how sports activities can contribute in
addiction prevention for children and youth. The available literature has shown that
sports activities have a handful of positive effects on the lives and health of children and
youth. Furthermore, when it comes to sports it is often a common factor in the
community and it seems that it is an excellent tool in a addiction prevention programs.
The implementation of sports prevention programs for children and youth in the
community requires the involvement of all community members.
