Abstract

Internet je postao uobičajena karakteristika današnjeg modernog svijeta. Dio je našeg svakodnevnog života i obavljanje većine poslova je nezamislivo bez pristupa internetu. Uz sve prednosti koje on pruža, njegova problematična upotreba može dovesti do pojave ovisnosti o internetu. Zasad nema jasnih i dokazano učinkovitih metoda liječenja ovisnosti, ali grupni tretmani pokazali su se djelotvorni za osobe s poremećajima ovisnosti o internetu. Upravo zato je glavni cilj ovog rada ponuditi prikaz mogućnosti i izazova grupnog rada u ovom području kao i sustavan prikaz istraživanja učinkovitosti grupnog rada u tretmanu ovisnosti o internetu. U radu se analiziraju rezultati istraživanja te je ponuđen kritički osvrt na provođenje istraživanja i izazove s kojima se istraživači susreću.

Abstract (english)

The internet has become a common feature of today’s modern world. It is a part of our daily lives and doing most of the work is unthinkable without internet access. With all the benefits it provides, its problematic overuse can lead to internet addiction. There are currently no clear and proven effective methods of treating addiction, but group treatments have been shown to be effective for people with internet addiction disorders. That is why the main goal of this paper is to offer an overview of the possibilities and challenges of group work in this area as well as a systematic overview of research about the effectiveness of group work in the treatment of internet addiction. The paper analyzes the results of the research and offers a critical review of the conducting the research and the challenges that researchers face.
