Abstract

S progresivnim porastom broja starijih osoba u društvu, raste i potreba da im se
olakša svakodnevno suočavanje s raznim preprekama na koje nailaze zbog visoke
dobi. Uvidjelo se kako tehnologija u takvim situacijama može biti od velike pomoći
te je započeo razvoj koncepta pametnog starenja. Koncept pametnog starenja se
odnosi na revolucionarnu promjenu paradigme koja se okreće od negativnih
koncepata koji impliciraju na nevoljkost prihvaćanja kasnijih stadija života prema
pozitivnom... More prihvaćanju procesa starenja. Cilj ovog rada je pregled dosadašnjih
teorijskih promišljanja i istraživanja provedenih o ovome konceptu kako bi se
ponudio pregledni prikaz spoznaja na području pametnog starenja. Objašnjava se
ESHTAM model koji proučava spremnost na korištenje tehnologije u starijoj dobi te
se navode načini prihvaćanja koncepta pametnog starenja uz korištenje tehnologije,
ali i bez njega. Razmatra se poboljšanje kvalitete života u starijoj dobi kroz
kognitivnu stimulaciju, fizičku aktivnost i uravnoteženu prehranu te kako je moguće
iskoristiti pomoć moderne tehnologije pri povećanju kognitivne funkcionalnosti,
fizičkog napretka i socijalne uključenosti starijih osoba. Analizira se provedba
pametnog stanovanja te utjecaj koncepta pametnog starenja na zdravstveni sustav, a
naposljetku se navode i nedostatci navedenog koncepta. Less

Abstract (english)

With the progressive increase in the number of older people in society, there is a
growing need to facilitate their daily coping with the various barriers they encounter
because of their high age. It has been seen that technology in such situations can be
of great help and has started developing the concept of smart ageing. The concept of
smart ageing refers to the revolutionary paradigm shift that revolves around the
negative concepts which imply the reluctance to accept the later... More stages of life
towards the positive acceptance of the aging process. The aim of this paper is to
review the theoretical reflections and researches carried out on this concept in order
to offer a review of the knowledge in the field of smart ageing. The ESHTAM model
is explained, which examines the willingness to use technology in old age and
identifies ways of accepting the concept of smart ageing using technology, but also
without using it. It is considered to improve the quality of life in older age through
cognitive stimulation, physical activity and balanced nutrition and also how it is
possible to use the help of modern technology to increase cognitive functionalities,
physical progress and social involvement of older people. The implementation of
smart housing and the impact of the smart ageing concept on the health system are
analysed, and, finally,the shortcomings of the concept are cited. Less
