Abstract

Za potrebe ovog diplomskog rada provedeno je kvalitativno istraživanje tijekom 2017. i 2018. godini s edukatorima i terapeutima transakcijske analize koji imaju višegodišnje iskustvo s psihoterapijskim radom s klijentima, a koji rade na području Hrvatske, Slovenije i Srbije. Cilj istraživanja bio je usmjeren na stjecanje uvida u specifična iskustva edukatora i terapeuta u njihovom radu, izazove s kojima se oni susreću te na iskustva u radu sa socijalno ugroženim osobama. Kao metoda prikupljanja podataka korišten je polustrukturirani intervju konstruiran za potrebe ovog istraživanja, a za analizu prikupljenih podataka korištena je tematska analiza. Rezultati pokazuju da stručnjaci smatraju da primjenjujući transakcijsku analizu lakše razumiju klijenta, da im pomaže u radu i da postižu bolje rezultate kod klijenata. Kao izazove s kojima se susreću u svom radu navode pojedine karakteristike klijenata, poput nedovoljne motiviranosti i spremnosti na promjenu kao i vlastite probleme s mogućnosti doživljavanja i prihvaćanja klijenta. Jedan od problema je i neadekvatna institucionalna podrška. Rezultati također pokazuju kako psihoterapijski rad sa socijalno ugroženim može biti adekvatan s nekim pojedincima budući da im znanja i metode koje sam psihoterapijski pristup nudi omogućuju lakšu i kvalitetniju komunikaciju i s ovim klijentima.

Abstract (english)

For the purpose of this paper, a qualitative research was conducted in 2017 and 2018 with experienced Transactional Analysis therapists and TA educators working with clients in Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia. The research focuses on the TA educators’ and therapists’ specific work experience, challenges they face, as well as their work with socially vulnerable people. For the purpose of this research a method of data collection, a semi-structured interview was constructed, Thematic analysis was used for the analysis of the collected data. The results show that experts believe that applying transaction analysis enables them to better understand their clients, helps them in their work and enables them to achieve better therapy results. The challenges and problems therapists claim to face are clients’ specific characteristics like inadequate motivation and willingness to change and own problems with empathy and. accepting clients. One of the problems they meet is also insufficient institutional support. The results also show that psychotherapy may be effective with some individuals within socially vulnerable populations since knowledge and methods that psychotherapy provides enables easier and better communication with such clients as well.
