Abstract

Kvalitativno istraţivanje „Perspektive trenera u para taekwondo-u“ provedeno je s ciljem dobivanja uvida u doţivljaj i iskustva rada trenera u para taekowndo treningu. U istraţivanju su postavljena 3 pitanja. Prvim se ţeli dobiti uvid u izazove s kojima se treneri susreću prilikom svog rada, drugim se ţeli dobiti uvid u načine i mehanizme pomoću kojih se treneri nose s teškoćama vezanim uz rad, te treće pruţa uvid u pozitivne ishode treninga za osobe s invaliditetom koje prepoznaju treneri. U istraţivanje je bilo uključeno 6 trenera starijih od 18 godina koji su uključeni u rad para taekwondo treninga. Istraţivanje je provedeno pomoću polustrukturiranog intervjua koje se sastojalo od pitanja otvorenog tipa. Kao izazove koji se javljaju u radu treneri navode profil trenera, mogućnosti i obiljeţja sportaša s invaliditetom/ teškoćama u razvoju, izgradnju odnosa sa sportašima s invaliditetom/ teškoćama u razvoju, izazove u suradnji s osobama iz okoline osoba s invaliditetom i ograničene resurse. S teškoćama se nose na taj način da se oslanjaju na vlastite sposobnosti i načine suočavanja, ulaţu u organizaciju treinga, educiraju se i educiraju druge te izgraĎuju suradnju s ostalim dionicima. Pozitivne ishode prepoznaju kroz napredak u tjelesnom funkcioniranju članova kluba, razvoj bolje slike o sebi i bolju uključenost u zajednicu i kvalitetniju socijalizaciju osoba s invaliditetom.

Abstract (english)

Qualitative research "Coaches' perspectives in para taekwondo" was conducted with the aim of gaining insight into the experience of coaches' work in para taekowndo training. There were three research questions. The first one aimed to get an insight into the challenges that coaches encounter in their work, second aimed to gain insight into the ways and mechanisms by which coaches are dealing with work-related difficulties and the third one provides insights into positive outcomes of training for disabled people recognized by coaches . The study included 6 coaches over the age of 18 involved in the work of para taekwondo training. The research was conducted through a semi-structured interview consisted of open type questions. Challenges that appear in the work of trainers include the coaches' profile, possibilities and features of athletes with disabilities, building relationships with athletes with disabilities, challenging in cooperation with people from the environment of people with disabilities and limited resources. They struggle to rely on their own abilities and ways of coping with difficulties related to training, they invest in training organization, educate themselves and educate others, build co-operation with other stakeholders. Positive outcomes are recognized through the advancement in the physical functioning of club members, the development of better self-image, better community involvement and better socialization of people with disabilities.
