Abstract

Psihoaktivne tvari podrazumijevaju širok spektar manje i više poznatih tvari koje predstavljaju izazov za društvo oduvijek a osobito danas. Ovaj rad obrađuje ovisnosti općenito koju izazivaju te tvari, povijest ovisnosti te vrste opojnih tvari, no glavni cilj rada koji je sadržan u njegovom središnjem djelu je posvećen samo jednoj psihoaktivnoj tvari a to je marihuana. Detaljnije je objašnjena njezina povijest, zakonska regulativa u odabranim zemljama, dok je posljednji dio usmjeren na stavove za i protiv dekriminalizacije i legalizacije uz pregled stavova konzumenata na odabrana i njima postavljena pitanja. Rad je usmjeren naglašavanju važnosti argumentirane rasprave te pronalasku čvrstih dokaza u prilog tvrdnjama koje se iznose.

Abstract (english)

Psychoactive substances include a wide range of, some more and some less known substances which present a challenge for society since its beginnings. This paper is analyzing the history of the addictions, the addictions which are caused by the psychoactive substances, and the types of substances, however, the main topic of this research paper is dedicated to exclusively one psychoactive matter and that is marijuana. In the first part, detailed history of marijuana is explained as well as the legalization in certain countries; whereas the last part is explaining positions for and against decriminalization and legalization of marijuana with a review of perspectives of consumers on topics discussed. This paper emphasizes the importance of discussion that is based on evidence provided for the position taken.
