Abstract

Obitelj predstavlja izvor podrške i prva je okolina s kojom se dijete susreće. Njena važnost se prepoznaje i u otežanim okolnostima koje zahtijevaju pojačanu skrb za dijete s teškoćama u razvoju. Naime, riječ je o prostoru koji predstavlja plodno tlo za rast i razvoj djeteta s teškoćama u razvoju. Roditelji i ostali članovi obitelji odgovorni su za zadovoljavanje potreba djeteta, razvijanje njegovih sposobnosti, zagovaranje prava i uključivanje u zajednicu. Cilj ovog rada je predstaviti važnost obitelji kroz njene uloge u životu djeteta s teškoćama u razvoju, utjecaj koji dijete s teškoćama ima na obitelj te izvore podrške na koje ima pravo. Taj cilj se nastoji postići prikazivanjem dosadašnjih istraživanja u tom području. Ujedno se prikazivanjem tih istraživanja, želi ukazati i na važnost budućih istraživanja u pojedinom segmentima ovog područja. Prvenstveno, ovim radom se želi utjecati na dobrobit djece s teškoćama u razvoju i povećanje kvalitete života čitave obitelji.

Abstract (english)

Family is a source of support and the first environment which the child meets. The importance of family is also recognized in difficult circumstances that require increased care for a child with disabilities. In fact, it is a space that represents fertile ground account growth and development of children with disabilities. Parents and other family members are responsible for meeting the needs of child, developing his skills, advocacy and involvement in the community. The aim of this paper is to present the meaning of family through its role in the life of a child with disabilities, the impact of a child with disabilities has on the family and the sources of support to witch they are entilled. That aim seeks to achieve displaying previous research in this area. At the same time, the display of this research wants to draw attention to the importance of future research in some segments of this area. Primarily, this paper aims to affect the well- being of children with disabilities and increase the quality of life for all entire family.
