Abstract

Svako se dijete tijekom svog odrastanja suočava s brojnim teškoćama, izazovima te raznim traumatičnim iskustvima koji ga uz međudjelovanje individualnih, obiteljskih i okolinskih faktora oblikuju u osobu koja će postati. Zlostavljanje i zanemarivanje kojem je dijete izloženo u obitelji tijekom svog odrastanja, predstavlja jedan od najtežih i najbolnijih iskustava koje dijete može proživjeti, a učinci doživljenog stvaraju probleme u brojnim domenama života djeteta te ga mogu obilježiti za cijeli život. Zlostavljanje i zanemarivanje definirano je svakim činjenjem ili propustima činjenja određenih radnji koje mogu predstavljati potencijalnu ugrozu za dijete i/ili dovoditi do razornih posljedica. Način na koji će se dijete suočavati i prevladati izazove kojima je izloženo, ovisi upravo o otpornosti djeteta. Otpornost se smatra temeljnim kapacitetom svakog djeteta koji mu omogućava pozitivnu prilagodbu usprkos brojnim izazovima i preprekama s kojima se suočava. Tijekom analize koncepta otpornosti, nužno je razumijevanje koncepta kao multidimenzionalnog, koji se oblikuje temeljem individualnih karakteristika pojedinog djeteta, obiteljskim utjecajima te utjecajima iz okoline. Za svako je dijete utjecaj navedenih čimbenika različit i svako dijete kreira individualnu formulu vlastite otpornosti. Pitanje u kojoj je mjeri koji od čimbenika doprinio razvoju otpornosti djeteta, ostaje nerasvijetljen dio, o kojem ne možemo donositi sveopće zaključke, no u nastavku će se sa sigurnošću govoriti o čimbenicima koji doprinose razvoju otpornosti djeteta.

Abstract (english)

During childhood, every child faces numerous difficulties, challenges and various traumatic experiences that, along with the interaction of individual, family and environmental factors, shape them into the person they will become. Abuse and neglect to which a child is exposed in the family during his childhood is one of the most difficult and painful experiences that a child can go through, and the effects of what they experienced create problems in many domains of the child's life and can mark them for the rest of their life. Abuse and neglect is defined as any act or failure to act that may pose a potential threat to the child and/or lead to devastating consequences. The way in which the child will face and overcome the challenges he is exposed to, depends precisely on the child's resilience. Resilience is considered a fundamental capacity of every child that enables him to adapt positively despite the many challenges and obstacles they face. During the analysis of the concept of resilience, it is necessary to understand the concept as multidimensional, which is formed based on the individual characteristics of an individual child, family influences and influences from the environment. For each child, the influence of the mentioned factors is different and each child creates an individual formula of his own resilience. The question to what extent which of the factors contributed to the development of the child's resilience remains an unexplained part, about which we cannot make general conclusions, but we will talk with certainty about the factors that contribute to the development of the child's resilience.
