Abstract

Ovaj završni rad bavi se temom obrazovnih šansi djece iz ranjivih skupina s fokusom na prepreke i izazove s kojima se suočavaju unutar obrazovnog sustava. Iako je obrazovanje u Hrvatskoj pravno zajamčeno svim građanima, mnoga djeca iz ranjivih skupina, kao što su djeca koja žive u uvjetima siromaštva, djeca pripadnici određenih etničkih manjina, koja žive u nedostupnim ili ruralnim područjima te djeca s teškoćama u razvoju, suočavaju se s obrazovnim nejednakostima. Glavni uzrok obrazovnih nejednakosti proizlazi iz socioekonomskih obilježja, diskriminacije, nedostatka obrazovnih resursa i podrške unutar različitih sustava. U radu se analiziraju teorijski pristupi i učinak socioekonomskog statusa na obrazovne ishode djece te navode prijedlozi i mjere za poboljšanje obrazovnih šansi djece iz ranjivih skupina. Uloga inkluzivnog obrazovanja ključna je u smanjenju socijalne isključenosti djece i prekidanju začaranog kruga siromaštva. Inkluzivne obrazovne politike temelj su kohezivnog i pravednijeg društva.

Abstract (english)

This final paper deals with the topic of educationa lopportunities for children from vulnerable groups with a focus on the obstacles and challenges they face within the educational system. Although education in Croatia is legally guaranteed to allcitizens, many children from vulnerable groups, such as children living in poverty, children belonging to certain ethnic minorities, living in inaccessible or rural areas, and children with developmental disabilities, face educational inequalities. The main cause of educational inequalities stems from socioeconomic characteristics, discrimination, lack of educational resources and support within different systems. The paper analyzes theoretical approaches and the effect of socioeconomic status on children's educational outcomes, as well as suggestions and measures for improving the educational chances of children from vulnerable groups. The role of inclusive education is crucial in reducing the social exclusion of children and breaking the vicious cycle of poverty. Inclusive education policies are the foundation of a cohesive and fairer society.
