Abstract

Predmet ovo rada je analiza obveza i prava međunarodnih arbitara. S obzirom na to da obveze i prava međunarodnih arbitara proistječu iz različitih izvora, autor se u vodnom dijelu dotiče tih izvora te statusa arbitara. U glavnom dijelu ovog rada obrađene su ključne obveze i prava međunarodnih arbitara koje su neophodne za uspješno provođenje arbitražnog postupka. Neka od pitanja koja su razmotrena su pitanje nepristranosti i neovisnosti arbitara, dužnost obavještavanja o potencijalnim sukobima interesa, pravo na nagradu te pravo na suradnju.

Abstract (english)

The subject of this paper is the analysis of the obligations and rights of international arbitrators. Given that the obligations and rights of international arbitrators derive from various sources, the introductory section touches upon these sources and the status of arbitrators. The main part of this paper examines the key obligations and rights of international arbitrators that are essential for the successful conduct of arbitration proceedings. Some of the issues addressed include the impartiality and independence of arbitrators, the duty to disclose potential conflicts of interest, the right to remuneration, and the right to cooperation.
