Abstract

Ključni nositelji arbitražnog postupka su arbitri. Za uspješnu arbitražu potrebno je da su arbitri stručni, iskusni, učinkoviti, nezavisni i nepristrani. U ovom diplomskom radu riječ je karakteristikama arbitra, postupku njihova imenovanja, pravima i dužnostima arbitra te izuzeću i zamjeni arbitara primjenjujući usporedno pravila institucionalne arbitraže, ad hoc arbitraže i domaćeg zakonodavstva.

Abstract (english)

The key bearers of the arbitration procedure are the arbitrators. For a successful arbitration, it is necessary that the arbitrators are professional, experienced, efficient, independent and impartial. This thesis deals with the characteristics of arbitrators, the procedure for their appointment, the rights and duties of arbitrators, and the exemption and replacement of arbitrators, applying the rules of institutional arbitration, ad hoc arbitration and domestic legislation in comparison.
