Abstract

Rad se bavi analizim stavova studenata medicine prema osobama s invaliditetom. U uvodnom dijelu kratko se analiziraju pojmovi invaliditeta i stavova općenito te se daje osvrt na provedena slična istraživanja. U drugom dijelu prikazani su rezultati istraživanja provedenog na četiri sveučilišta u Hrvatskoj, Splitu, Rijeci, Zagrebu i Osijeku. Rezultati provedenog istraživanja ukazuju na to da sociodemografska obilježja kao što su spol, dob, godina studija i mjesto prebivališta nemaju velikog utjecaja na stvaranje stavova studenata medicine prema osobama s invaliditetom. Rezultati ukazuju na to da studenti smatraju potrebnim posjedovati posebne vještine u radu s osobama s invaliditetom, te da veliki broj ispitanika osobe s invaliditetom smatra bolesnima.

Abstract (english)

This work analyses the attitude of medical students towards people with disabilities. The terms of disability and the general attitudes have been shortly analysed in the introduction and there is also a review of similar works/research. The second part presents the results of research which has been carried out at four universities in Croatia: Split, Rijeka, Osijek and Zagreb. The results of this research has shown that sociodemographic characteristics such as age, sex, years of college and place of residence don't have great influence on the attitude of medical students towards people with disabililities. The results have also shown that the students consider it neccessary to have special skills in order to work with people with disabilities and that a large number of them consider people with disabilities as sick people.
