Abstract

Priznanje prava na štrajk kao temeljnog ljudskog prava je trijumf za težnje radnika i sindikata diljem svijeta. To je vrhunac dugog procesa borbe koji je započeo usred industrijske revolucije i nastavio se tijekom posljednja dva stoljeća. Započelo je u trenutku zabrane radničkih organizacija i napredovalo sve dok sloboda udruživanja nije prepoznata kao jedan od temelja stabilnog i dugotrajnog mira. Upravo se kroz ovaj rad analizira pravo na štrajk, sa međunarodnog i nacionalnog aspketa, najvažnije odrednice i vrste, ali i spominju primjere štrajkova iz prakse.

Abstract (english)

The recognition of the right to strike as a fundamental human right is a triumph for the aspirations of workers and unions around the world. It's the culmination of a long process of struggle that began in the middle of the industrial revolution and has continued for the last two centuries. It began with the banning of labor organizations and progressed until freedom of association was recognized as one of the foundations of a stable and lasting peace. That is why this thesis analyzed the right to strike, from an international and national aspect, the most important determinants and types, but also mentions examples of strikes in practice.
