Abstract

Cilj ovog rada je utvrditi i opisati posljedice koje je COVID-19 pandemija imala na djelotvornost zdravstvenog sustava te na dostupnost zdravstvenih usluga u Hrvatskoj. Opisuju se pojmovi prava na zdravlje, zdravlja, zdravstvenih nejednakosti i pristup zdravstvenim uslugama. Nastoji se dokučiti koje su to sistemske odrednice hrvatskog zdravstvenog sustava i odluke nadležnih tijela dovele do ograničenosti i nedostupnosti zdravstvenih usluga za vrijeme trajanja pandemije i na koji način je to dovelo do uskrate ljudskih prava.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this paper is to determine and describe the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the efficiency of the Croatian healthcare system and the availability of healthcare services in Croatia. Concepts such as the right to health, health, health inequality and access to healthcare are explained. The paper aims to ascertain which of the characteristics of the Croatian healthcare system and measures imposed by the authorities led to the limitation and inaccessibility of healthcare services during the pandemic and in what way that affected the violation of human rights.
