Abstract

Rad se bavi društveno korisnim učenjem kao pedagoškim alatom i njegovim mogućnostima unaprjeđenja vještina i kompetencija koje su ključne za tržište rada današnjice kao i specifičnih kompetencija struke socijalnog rada. Cilj istraživanja bio je dobiti uvid u učinak primjene metode društveno korisnog učenja na psihosocijalnu dobrobit studenata koji su pohađali prvi službeni kolegij društveno korisnog učenja na studiju socijalnog rada. Podaci su prikupljeni na N= 22 u dvije točke mjerenja- na početku i po završetku kolegija. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su pozitivne pomake kod studenata socijalnog rada u vještinama timskog rada i sudjelovanja, civilne efikasnosti te osobnih vrijednosti o društvenoj odgovornosti nakon primjene metode društveno korisnog učenja. Na temelju navedenog te s obzirom na postojeću potrebu jačanja generičkih vještina kao i civilne misije sveučilišta, sugerira se veća primjena društveno korisnog učenja na studijskim programima kao i njegovo daljnje širenje na Studijskom centru socijalnog rada.

Abstract (english)

The paper addresses service learning as a pedagogical tool and its possibilities of improving skills and competencies that are crucial for today's labor market as well as improving specific competencies of the social work profession. The aim of the research was to gain insight into the effect of the application of the method of service learning on the psychosocial well-being of students who attended the first official course of service learning at the Social Work Study Center. Data was collected at N = 22 at two measurement points - at the beginning and at the end of the course. The results of the research showed positive changes in the skills of teamwork and participation, civic efficiency and personal values of social responsibility of social work students after the application of the method of service learning. Based on the above, and given the existing need to strengthen generic skills as well as the civic mission of the university, it is suggested greater application of service learning in study programs and its further expansion at the Social Work Study Center.
