Abstract

Jedan od temelja socijalnog rada je jasna posvećenost etičkim načelima. Etička načela štite profesiju socijalnog rada, profesionalne pomagače i njihove korisnike te pomažu uspostaviti svojesvrsan sustav kontrole za sve one koji sudjeluju u pomažućem procesu. U ovom radu posebna pažnja posvećena je etici socijalnog rada, vrijednostima u socijalnom radu kao važnim temeljima iz kojih nastaju etička načela te Etičkom kodeksu socijalnih radnika Hrvatske. IzmeĎu ostalog, rad se bavi područjima u kojima se javljaju etičke dileme te etičkim pitanjima, a posebna pažnja posvećena je i etici sudjelovanja koja se javlja kao rezultat postmoderne u socijalnom radu. Kod socijalnih radnika treba postojati etička svijest, predanost i sposobnost za etičko postupanje kako bi svojim korisnicima ponudili kvalitetne usluge. Često su suočeni s brojnim izazovima i nedoumicama, a etički kodeks im pomaže da donose etički ispravne odluke o tome kako postupiti u pojedinom slučaju.

Abstract (english)

One of the most important things about social work is clear commitment to the ethical principles. Ethical principles are protecting social work profession, professional assistants and their users. Also, ethical principles are helping to make sort of control system for those who are part of the helping process. This work is particuraly oriented to the ethics of social work, values in social work which are important foundation of ethical principles and finally Ethical code of the social workers in Croatia. Among other things, this work is oriented to areas where we can find ethical dillemas and ethical questions, but special attention is dedicated to the ethics of participation which is result of postmodern in social work. Social workers must have ethical awareness, commitment and ability for ethical treatment so all of the users would have quality treatment. Social workers are often being in the face of many challenges and confusion but there is ethical code to help them make ethical correct decision in many contingencies that ahead of them.
