Abstract
Siromaštvo je složena i multidimenzionalna pojava koja sve češće spominje u društvu. Najjednostavnije se objašnjava kao neposjedovanje novca ili dovoljno novaca kojima bi ljudi zadovoljili svoje materijalne potrebe. Osobama starije životne dobi smatramo osobe iznad 60 godina života, dok neki autori osobama starije životne dobi smatraju osobe iznad 65 godina života. S obzirom na sve veći i ubrzan trend starenja stanovništva i povećanje broja osoba starije životne dobi u ukupnom stanovništvu, ali i na činjenicu da osobe starije životne dobi imaju jedan od najvećih rizika od siromaštva potrebno je dobiti dublji uvid u tu skupinu.
Abstract (english)
Poverty is a complex and multidimensional phenomenon that is increasingly mentioned in society. It is most simply explained as not having money or enough money to meet basic material needs. When we talk about elderly we consider them as people over 60 years of age, while some authors consider elderly people to be over 65 years of age. Given the growing and accelerating trend of population aging and the increase in the number of elderly people in the total population, but also the fact that older people have one of the greatest risks of poverty, it is necessary to gain a deeper insight into this group.
