Abstract

Ovaj rad predstavit će Europske strukturne i investicijske fondove koji su od iznimne važnosti za Republiku Hrvatsku. Pružaju joj financijsku podršku, otvaraju vrata gospodarskom napretku te pridonose konkurentnosti Hrvatske na međunarodnoj razini. Cilj rada je opisati i analizirati utjecaj ESIF-a na socijalnu politiku Hrvatske te njen napredak i razvoj prilikom korištenja sredstava iz proračuna Europske unije. Ovim radom pobliže će se objasniti i uloga socijalnog rada kao profesije u mijenjanju slike društva korištenjem sredstava iz Europskog socijalnog fonda te će se staviti naglasak na velike mogućnosti koje proizlaze iz ESIF-a kao i na potrebu za još većom iskorištenosti istih.

Abstract (english)

This work will present the European Structural and Investment Funds, which are extremely important for the Republic of Croatia. They provide financial support, they are opening doors to the economic progress and contribute to Croatia's international competitiveness. A goal of this work is to describe and analyze the impact of the ESIF on Croatian social policy and also its progress and development when using funds from the budget of the European Union. This work will further explain the role of social work as a profession in changing the image of society using resources from the European Social Fund and emphasis will be placed on the great potential arising from the ESIF as well as the need for even greater use of it.
