Abstract

Osnovni cilj rada bio je upoznati perspektivu nezaposlenih osoba s intelektualnim teškoćama o doživljaju nezaposlene osobe. Svrha rada je povećati mogućnosti zapošljavanja na temelju doživljaja osoba s intelektualnim teškoćama, dosadašnjih spoznaja i podataka. Podaci su prikupljeni temeljem polustrukturiranih intervjua provedenih sa 10 osoba s intelektualnim teškoćama korisnicima naknade do zaposlenja. Rezultati pokazuju da je potrebno mijenjati programe obrazovanja osoba s intelektualnim teškoćama u skladu s potrebama tržišta rada. Njihova socijalna mreža je nedovoljno razvijena jer ostvaruju rijetke kontakte u zajednici i primaju podršku najčešće iz jednog izvora. Nedostatak samoinicijative prilikom traženja posla upućuje na nužnost njihova osnaživanja. Nezaposlenost je dovela do provođenja slobodnog vremena kod kuće, svijesti o vlastitim ograničenjima ali i do uvjerenja u svoje kompetentnosti, što je pokazalo da nezaposlenost ne vodi nužno do stvaranja negativne slike o sebi. Rad znači dobrobit i utjecaj na budućnost. Rezultati mogu biti korisni za kreiranje strategija društva u suočavanju s rizikom otežane zapošljivosti osoba s intelektualnim teškoćama kao i rizikom od njihove socijalne isključenosti.

Abstract (english)

Main goal of this paper is to provide insight into perspective of unemployed persons with disabilities, about experience of being unemployed. Purpose of this paper is to increase employment opportunities based on the experience of persons with intellectual disabilities, past knowledge and data. The data were obtained on the ground of the transcript content analysis of interviews conducted with ten persons with intellectual disabilities who are users of charge during unemployment. The results show that it is necessary to change the programs of education of persons with intellectual according to the needs of the labor market. Their social network is underdeveloped because they have rare community contacts and receive support most often from one source. The lack of self-employment when seeking employment suggests the necessity of their empowerment. Unemployment has led to leisure time at home, awareness of their own constraints but also belief in their pertinence, which has shown that unemployment does not necessarily lead to the creation of a negative self-concept. Work means welfare and impact on the future. Results can be used for the creation of public strategies in coping with risk of more difficult employability of people with intellectual disabilities and also with risk of their social exclusion.
