| Abstract | Adolescenti pripadnici Romske nacionalne manjine prolaze kroz brojne izazove i prepreke koje nosi to razdoblje života. Međutim, sama pripadnost manjini nosi i dodatne poteškoće s kojima se susreću i koje moraju prevladati mladi Romi. U ovom su radu opisani neki od najčešćih rizika kojima su izloženi mladi Romi a to su: rizični čimbenici u obiteljskom i širem socijalnom okruženju, rizični čimbenici u vršnjačkom okruženju, rizični čimbenici u načinu života, prosjačenje kao rizični čimbenik, rizični čimbenici u obrazovanju kao i rizično spolno ponašanje.
Glavni problemi s kojima se susreću mladi Romi su slaba obrazovanost i neuključenost u tržište rada. Marginalni društveni položaj, poseban način života, drugačiji vrijednosni sustav, romski običaji te sve što čini romski identitet drugačijim, znatno otežavanju njihovo uključenje u zajednicu. Upravo iz to razloga socijalni su radnici važna karika u radu s adolescentima pripadnicima romske nacionalne manjine budući da je srž socijalnog rada upravo pomaganje i osnaživanje ljudi za samostalno rješavanje problema kao i poboljšanje kvalitete života i opće dobrobiti.

RISK BEHAVIORS ADOLESCENTS MEMBER OF THE ROMA MINORITY
Adolescents members of the Roma minority are going through many challenges and obstacles that carries that period of life. However, the minority belonging carries additional difficulties encountered and which must overcome the young Roma. This paper presents some of the most common risks for young Roma: risk factors in the family and the wider social environment, risk factors in the same age group, risk factors in lifestyle, begging as a risk factor, risk factors in education as well as risky sexual behavior.
The main problems thet young Roma are facing are poor education and lack of involvment in labor market. The marginal social position, a particular way of life, a different system of values and their traditions make their identity different and significantly hinders their integration into the community. There for are social workers who make an important link in working with adolescents from Roma community since helping and empowering people in order to solve problems and improve the quality of life and general well-being is the core of social work. |
