Abstract
Traumatski događaji, odnosno događaji izvan uobičajenog ljudskog iskustva, kao što su rat, silovanje, psihičko, fizičko ili obiteljsko nasilje te zlostavljanje u djetinjstvu, mogu dovesti do posttraumatskog stresnog poremećaja. U ovom završnom radu bit će riječi o povijesnom razvoju, epidemiologiji, mogućim uzrocima nastanka posttraumatskog stresnog poremećaja, kliničkoj slici i komorbiditetu s drugim psihijatrijskim poremećajima. Također ćemo se baviti utjecajem tog poremećaja na važne aspekte društvenog funkcioniranja oboljele osobe, kao i raznim metodama liječenja. Na samom kraju, fokusirat ćemo se na ulogu socijalnog radnika, kao važnog člana multidisciplinarnog tima u liječenju PTSP- a.
Abstract (english)
Traumatic events, or events beyond normal human expirience, such as war, rape, psychological, physical or family violence and childhood abuse, can cause development of posttraumatic stress disorder. This thesis will discuss historical development, epidemiology, potential couses of posttraumatic stress disorder, clinical presentation and comorbidity. Also, thesis deals with it' s influence on the important aspects of social functioning of the person, and with the various treatment methods. At the end, we will focus on the role of social worker, as an important member of the multidisciplinary team in the PTSP treatment.
