Abstract

Rad je posvećen izučavanju vršnjačkog nasilja u školi. Kroz sažimanje različith domaćih i stranih istraživanja, objašnjava pojam vršnjačkog nasilja te problem klasifikacije, dotiče se vrsti i obilježja vršnjačkog nasilja, objašnjava koji su rizični i zaštitni čimbenici vršnjačkog nasilja te koje su rizične grupe djece za sudjelovanje u vršnjačkom nasilju. Nadalje, opisuje različite skupine sudionika koji mogu utjecati na vršnjačko nasilje te posljedice koje vršnjačko nasilje može prouzročiti. U nastavku se objašnjavaju strategije suočavanja djece s vršnjačkim nasiljem, ističe se važnost prevencije vršnjačkog nasilja kroz razne programe i vršnjačku medijaciju s ciljem promocije prosocijalnog ponašanja i stava da je nasilje društveno neprihvatljivo ponašanje

Abstract (english)

This paper deals with peer violence at school. Through the drawing together various domestic and foreign research, it defines the concept of peer violence and the difficulties in its classification, describes the types and characteristics of peer violence, refers to the risk and protective factors of peer violence as well as risky groups of children for the peer violence participation. Furthermore, it describes different groups of participants who can influence peer violence and the consequences that peer violence can cause. In continuation, it describes the strategies that children use for coping with the peer violence, emphasizes the importance of preventing peer violence through various programs and peer mediation with the aim of promoting prosocial behavior and stating that violence is socially unacceptable behavior.
