Abstract

U radu su prikazani rezultati kvalitativnog istraţivanja čiji cilj je bio bolje razumijevanje radne motivacije osoba koje se nalaze na dugotrajnom bolovanju. U istraţivanju je sudjelovalo 10 osoba na dugotrajnom bolovanju. Podaci su prikupljeni metodom polustrukturiranog intervjua, a kod obrade podataka koristila se metoda tematske analize. Rezultati istraţivanja ukazuju da su osobe na dugotrajnom bolovanju suočavaju se s nizom različitih prepreka i poteškoća u radu nakon pojave zdravstvenih problema, te da najveći broj njih je povezan s poslodavcem i radnom okolinom. Suočavaju se i s nizom gubitaka i prije i nakon sluţbenog odlaska na bolovanje što dovodi do pada njihove kvalitete ţivota, a što moţe za posljedicu moţe imati smanjenje njihove radne motivacije. Glede mogućnosti povrataka na posao većina izraţava verbalnu motivaciju za rad, unatoč tome što se polovica osjeća radno nesposobnima. Svoje radne sposobnosti različito doţivljavaju, a očekuju teškoće u eventualnom budućem radu.

Abstract (english)

The paper presents the results of qualitative research whose main goal was to better understand the work motivation of long-term sickness absentees. Ten people who were on long-term sick leave participated in the study. The data were collected by a semi-structured interview method, and thematic analysis was used as the data analysis method. Research findings suggest that long-term sickness absentees are faced with a variety of obstacles and difficulties in work after the onset of health problems and that the majority of them are related to the employer and the working environment. They are faced with a number of losses both before and after their official sick leave leading to a decline in their quality of life, which can result in a decrease in their work motivation. Regarding the possibility of returning to work most express verbal motivation for work, despite the fact that half are feeling incapable of working. Their working abilities are differently experienced, and they expect difficulties in their future work.
